Hold up. Before you go, something to keep in mind.

We humbly (but firmly) ask: please help us preserve the Clarence Valley’s unique nature and beauty by observing the signs regarding camping and overnighting.

The Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, and Yaegl peoples have been supremely effective caretakers of these lands and waterways since long before the Pharaohs, the Pyramids, or the Ancient Greeks or any other ‘old’ civilisations. We really urge all visitors and locals to keep this remarkable achievement in mind. We can learn so much from the traditional custodians of this place, not least to recognise, respect, and do our best to preserve the health of the natural ecosystem.
