The Maclean showground is a great camping spot right on the Clarence River and it is located on a short 800-metre walk into the town centre. Maclean Showground Camp is the prime location to watch the incredible colours of the sun setting over the Clarence River and McFarlane Bridge.

Offering a maximum of 10 campsites, for a three-night stay, it is first-in-first-served basis as you are not able to book your sites. There are designated areas to park with some sites along the river bank, and the rest around the main ring. The sites are all grassed and reasonably flat.

There are minimal facilities with toilets and no showers, but they do have a dump point. Pets are permitted on a leash. No Tents allowed.
