Diggers Headland is quite possibly the most hidden gem within the Clarence Valley.
A four-kilometre drive over unsealed road North of Wooli, Diggers Headland is where you go to truely feel like you’ve left all the worries behind. It’s a quiet haven with the best views.
For the historians amongst you, here’s a Fun Fact for your file… Diggers was named as such because a gold mine operated here in the late 1800s – the only coastal gold mine in the Clarence Valley. (They can’t promise actual gold anymore but their sunsets are pretty Golden!)
