The Wild About Wooli Art Show is a community art show and fundraiser for the activities of the Coastal Communities Protection Alliance – Wooli.
The Wild About Wooli Art Show is an annual event held during the Easter long weekend showcasing art from the local coastal regions. The 2023 event saw the exhibition grow in popularity with artists entering from near and far. In total, 145 entries were received from 65 artists with artworks submitted in all categories.
After celebrating the Opening Night, they will continue over the Easter weekend and open to the general public and the wider community.
The theme of the Wild About Wooli Art Show in 2024 is ‘What are you wild about?’.
Wooli Artist Gathering (WAG) was formed in November 2010 by a group of local artists and those who have an interest in art. The beauty and unique location of Wooli and its surrounding area have attracted many artists and stimulated people to develop their artistic talents.
Before this time the growing collection of artists was seeking opportunities to gather, discuss, collaborate and support artistic endeavours. The ArtShow now provides a platform to exhibit their artwork and connect with the wider art community and the general public.
